Everton transfer news: Toffees close in on Ndiaye as Dyche eyes Man City winger as Minteh alternative
FootballTransfers has learned that Everton are close to a deal for Marseille’s Iliman Ndiaye, while there is also interest in Manchester City’s Issa Kabore.
Ndiaye has verbally agreed to move to Goodison Park ahead of next season and a deal could see a transfer fee of €20 million including add-ons. The two clubs now only need to complete a transfer of the Senegalese international.
Head coach Sean Dyche has highlighted the need to strengthen the attacking area of the game this summer after the team suffered poor form in front of goal last season, scoring the third lowest number of Premier League goals at an average of 1.05 per game.

After Arnaut Danjuma leaves the club following his stint at Villarreal, the club will get Jack Harrison back on loan from Leeds.
Chelsea’s Armando Broja remains of interest, but that may only be the case if Dominic Calvert-Lewin moves on, although Newcastle have withdrawn from the race to sign the striker.
We’re told Everton have refused to meet the Magpies’ valuation for Yankuba Minteh, who is now on the verge of a move to Lyon.

The club has turned its attention to other targets for the time being and considers Manchester City’s Issa Kabore as a viable option.
The 23-year-old, who can play as a right winger or right defender, spent last season on loan at Luton Town, where he made 24 Premier League appearances and provided two assists.
Who is Iliman Ndiaye?
Ndiaye spent just one season at Marseille last season, making 46 appearances throughout the season.
He moved from Sheffield United, where he spent three seasons, to Les Phoceens, one of his former training clubs.
FootballTransfers’ Expected Transfer Value (ETV) algorithm values the 24-year-old at €17.4 million, while he has a contract with his current team until 2028.
